I am currently serving as the student representative on the American Meteorological Society Committee on Polar Meteorology and Oceanography. I help organize the biennial Conference on Polar Meteorology and Oceanography and improve polar research and outreach through meetings, symposia, and educational activities.

The Program on Climate Change (PCC) seeks to amplify interactions among climate science researchers at the University of Washington. The program also houses educational opportunities for the public to learn about climate change through outreach events and structured classes. During my undergraduate studies, along with Miriam Bertram, Cecilia Bitz, and LuAnne Thompson, I helped manage relevant climate coursework, events, and news at the University of Washington and develop ways to better communicate climate science.
